Wyatt did not make a peep during his session!
He gave me quite a few smiles 🙂
I love when parents want to stick to one color palette. Makes the whole session blend together.
Grayson is FINALLY one! I still remember taking his newborn photos last January!
He was the cutest rookie of the year and absolutely LOVED his cake!
Smash cake sessions come with a complete set up. All you are responsible for is your child’s outfit and the smash cake! (HEB has been the #1 place I recommend for all smash cakes)

Every year I tell myself, “you need to blog more.”
Do I ever do it? No!
Life catches up real fast when you’re not paying attention!
Well, hopefully, this year, I can try to blog weekly. Give everyone a better look as to what my sessions entail.
This little stinker did NOT want to sleep for me. & in all honesty, sometimes it happens. It doesn’t mean your baby is a bad baby. Newborns are SO unpredictable. The smallest thing can make them angry or upset. They def do NOT like being messed with!
I’m not sure if everyone has caught up yet, but the potatoe sack pose is literally one of my most favorite poses. You can get so many looks from ONE pose. Just keep pulling off layers of wraps and WA-LAH, new looks, more shots.
I met Molly a few months ago when I took her engagement photos with Ethan. You know how you instantly click with someone? That’s how I felt with Molly & Ethan. It’s not everyday you meet a couple that you can 1000% be yourself around and still be able to do your job. Now a days, there are so many rules when being “professional”, and that’s one thing I love about having my own business. I get to make my own rules. Thankfully, they made my job really easy, & I basically just got to yell at them and tell Ethan to smell Molly’s hair 90% of the time. Now, this past weekend, their wedding day finally arrived! It was so beautiful & I got to work with a amazing set of vendors! Later next week I will be posting a sneak peek, but for now, I want to share Molly’s bridals!

It’s not everyday, we as photographers, get to take a step back and shoot for fun. I needed this day. A day where I could have full creative control. A day where I didn’t feel rushed for time. A day where I could create something that would actually mean something whether it is titled a “styled shoot” or not.
Our creativity gets put on the back burner way too often. Sometimes, you just need to have fun to get those creative juices flowing. This is my fun. Here’s a look at my styled shoot with April and Marcos!
Let me give you a little backstory on these two, and why I chose them for my styled shoot. Anyone can find gorgeous models, but I wanted to find a couple that had a story.
April and Marco have been married for 3 years now. A couple months before they got married, they found out they were going to be parents. April tells me, “I remember the moment I told him. He already knew and just gave me the biggest hug. He said ‘everything will be just fine.’ & It was then, in that moment, I knew I trusted him with everything I had.” A couple months fly by, and April and Marco have a gender reveal party revealing the sex of their baby girl, Ashtyn. Marco takes this joyful moment and turns it into one they will both never forget by proposing to April in front of their friends and family. Fast forward two months; they were saying I do at the courthouse in Conroe, TX. Now, this is not everyone’s dream to get married in a courthouse. It wasn’t April or Marco’s dream either, but they wanted to do right by their unborn child. They chose to start a family with a home vs being in debt to have their dream wedding. They deserved this. They deserved to dress up, and have that experience we all want on our wedding day.
I could not have gotten through this styled shoot with out the help of some AMAZING vendors.
Selena Morgan (soon to be Meyer<3) was my right hand for this shoot. She helped with everything! She also did April’s hair and make up for the photo shoot. Be sure to check out Make up by Selena on Facebook!

Since these two never had a wedding, we thought it would be exciting to do a first look. & boy, does Marco’s face say it all<3
I have been slacking hard on blogging. I blame it on being super busy and still trying to figure out a balance between family life and work life. We just recently started up softball, and this has literally taken over our lives. Trying to find a balance has been hard for us. Slowly but surely, we will figure it out!
A couple weeks ago, my clients ended up showing me a new location. Man, they had me walk quite a bit, but I’m always down for some exercise. Haha. I’m actually pretty upset I haven’t had the chance to go back to this location. *Fingers crossed* The rain stays away this week and I can go back 🙂
Amy picked a beautiful gown from Sew Trendy Accessories and I think everyone can agree that she looked stunning in it. She is wearing the Kiara Gown in evergreen and it went SO well with her green eyes!
